How to Share a Google Calendar
To share a Google Calendar, open it on a computer, go to its Settings and sharing page, add the person under Share with specific people or groups, pick what they may do and click Send. You cannot start sharing from the phone app.
Step by step
- Open calendar.google.com on a computer.
- In the left column, under My calendars, point at the calendar and click the three dots.
- Click Settings and sharing.
- Under Share with specific people or groups, click Add people and groups.
- Type their email address and choose what they may do.
- Click Send. They get an email with a link that adds the calendar.
Good to know
- See only free/busy hides the event details.
- See all event details shows everything but allows no changes.
- Make changes to events lets them edit and delete events.
- Make changes and manage sharing also lets them share the calendar on, so give it only to people you trust.

Can I share a Google Calendar from my phone?
Not from the app. Open calendar.google.com in a browser on a computer, then the calendar shows on their phone once they accept.
