01Who we are
- Who
- Cutline, run by Adel and Kristian, Denmark
These terms are the agreement between you and Cutline when you use gocutline.com, app.gocutline.com and anything else we run under the Cutline name. By making an account you accept them. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your data, and the Community Guidelines are the rules for the Floor.
02Your account
You need to be at least 13 to use Cutline. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to buy a paid plan, and they are responsible for the payment.
One account is for one person. Use an email you can read: it is how you sign in. You choose your @name; it may not pretend to be someone else, a brand you do not represent, or Cutline. We may change an @name that does, and we will tell you why.
Keep access to your email safe. Anything done with your account is your responsibility unless you tell us it was not you.
03The Free plan
The Free plan costs nothing and has no time limit. It includes the Grid, XP, levels, streaks, Budget, the Arena, linked calendars, the verified CV, reading and replying on the Floor, and selling with payment links at a 5% Cutline fee. What each plan includes is listed on pricing.
04Paid plans and billing
Verified, Pro, Crew and Brand are subscriptions. The price is the one shown on pricing and at checkout, in US dollars, excluding local taxes where those apply. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
- Monthly plans renew on the 1st of every month. Your first payment covers only the days left in the month you join. With fewer than 3 days left, those days are free. After that you pay the full monthly price on the 1st.
- Yearly plans run for a year from the day you start and renew once a year.
- A plan renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings → Plan and billing. You keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for, and nothing more is charged.
- Changing plan takes effect right away; Stripe credits unused time from the old plan.
- If a payment fails, Stripe tries again for a while. If it keeps failing, the plan can end and the account goes back to Free. Your calendar is not touched.
- Price changes never apply to a period you have paid for. We tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan, so you can cancel first.
Apart from the right of withdrawal below, we do not refund the rest of a period you cancel in.
05The free week
Pro can be tried free for 7 days. A card is needed to start, and nothing is charged that day. One free week per person and per card: if a card has already had a free week, the new one is refused and nothing is charged.
Cutline reminds you in the app two days before the week ends. If you do not cancel before it ends, Pro continues as a monthly plan that renews on the 1st (see above); the first payment covers only the days until the 1st. Cancel in Settings before the end of day 7 and you pay nothing.
06Offers and discounts
Offers take a percentage off your first payment. On a monthly plan that is the first payment and your first full month; on a yearly plan, the first year. After that the normal price applies.
- Every offer has a stated end time and ends then. An offer you turn down is gone.
- One offer per checkout. Offers cannot be combined, exchanged for money or passed to someone else.
- Personal offers are for the account they were shown to. Making extra accounts to collect offers or free weeks is not allowed.
- The stay bonus (50% off your next monthly payment, shown when you cancel) is once per account.
07Your right of withdrawal
If you live in the EU and buy as a consumer, you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Because you ask us to start your plan straight away, if you withdraw within those 14 days you pay only for the days you had the plan, and we refund the rest within 14 days, to the card you paid with.
To withdraw, write to us (contact above) or use the form on Cancel and withdraw. Cancelling the free week before it ends costs nothing and needs no withdrawal.
08Crew, Brand and shared calendars
Crew is priced per seat, from 4 seats. Whoever pays for a crew decides who has its seats and is responsible for the payment. Brand lets you show a logo as a badge: you confirm you have the right to use that logo, and we may remove a logo that you do not.
Shared calendars are visible to everyone in them. Do not add people who did not ask to join, and remember that what you put in a shared calendar is seen by its members. Your own week stays private.
09Selling with payment links
Payment links are paid into your own Stripe account, which you connect to Cutline. Stripe's terms, including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, apply between you and Stripe.
- You are the seller. You are responsible for what you sell, its price, taxes, receipts, refunds, chargebacks and disputes with your buyers. Cutline is not a party to your sale.
- Fees. Cutline keeps a fee of 5% on Free, 2% on Verified and Crew, and 0% on Pro and Brand, taken from each payment. Stripe's own fees apply as well.
- What you may not sell: anything illegal where you or your buyer are, anything Stripe does not allow, and the things listed in our Community Guidelines. We may turn off links that break this.
10The Floor and what you post
What you post, write or upload stays yours. You give Cutline the right to store it, show it to the people you share it with, and show it on public pages you choose to publish (your profile, your CV), only to run Cutline. The right ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other people have already shared or that we must keep by law.
Follow the Community Guidelines. We may remove content or limit an account that breaks them, and we tell you why. You can report anything on the Floor from its menu.
11Verified CV and Official
A verified CV shows numbers Cutline computes from your record: blocks you planned and ticked off, and payments confirmed by Stripe. Time is recorded by you, and the CV says so. Do not use a CV to mislead anyone.
The Official seal is earned at $100,000 in verified revenue and reviewed by a person. We may remove it if the proof turns out to be false.
12Ads on the Floor
Advertisers accept the ad rules. Every ad is reviewed by a person before it runs. If we do not approve an ad, the payment is refunded in full.
13Using Cutline fairly
Do not use Cutline to break the law or hurt anyone. In particular, do not:
- harass, threaten, impersonate or deceive people, or post other people's private information;
- send spam, scams or chain schemes;
- make accounts to collect free weeks, offers or invite rewards;
- scrape Cutline, overload it, get around its limits, or test its security without our written permission;
- copy Cutline's design, brand or code to build a competing service.
Found a security problem? Write to us; we are grateful for a quiet heads-up.
14The service itself
We work to keep Cutline running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We improve Cutline all the time and may change or remove features. If we remove something a paid plan includes, we tell you in advance and you can cancel; if you have paid ahead, we refund the part you cannot use.
Coach, the AI in the app, gives suggestions and plans. It can be wrong, and it is not medical, legal or financial advice. Nothing it suggests goes into your calendar until you add it. Each plan has a number of Coach messages a day, shown in Coach.
Your data is yours to take with you: your week as a calendar feed, your CV as a PDF, and everything else on request by email.
15Liability
We are responsible for losses we cause by breaking these terms or by negligence, as Danish law provides. We are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profit, lost sales or lost data you could have kept a copy of, and our total liability is limited to what you paid Cutline in the 12 months before the claim. None of this limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited, or liability for intent or gross negligence.
16Ending
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting it ends any plan and deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where we can, we warn you first and tell you why. If we close an account without a breach on your side, we refund any time you paid for and did not get.
17Law and complaints
These terms are governed by Danish law. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the protection its law gives you.
If something is wrong, write to us first; we answer within 14 days. Consumers can also complain to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board through Nævnenes Hus, or, if you live in another EU country, get help from the European Consumer Centre Denmark. Disputes that are not settled go to the Danish courts, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
18Changes to these terms
When we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before. If you do not want the new terms, you can cancel and delete your account before they apply. The date at the top shows the current version.
