Is there a calendar that rewards you for finishing tasks?

Yes. Cutline is a weekly calendar where every time block you finish earns XP: 10 XP for every 15 minutes, a 100 XP bonus when every block of a day is done, levels and ranks as XP adds up, and a streak for every day with finished work. It is free.

How the rewards work in Cutline

You doYou get
Finish a planned block10 XP per 15 minutes (at least 10)
Finish every block of a dayThe day is stamped Cleared, +100 XP
Finish something every dayA streak (no freezes: it is earned)
Keep goingLevels and ranks, from Contender to Legend
Join the ArenaYour finished hours on a weekly board that resets every Monday

Rewards come only from blocks you planned and ticked off. Meetings brought in from Google or Outlook never earn XP.

Why rewarding finished time helps

Research on goal pursuit finds that monitoring progress makes people more likely to reach their goals, especially when progress is recorded and visible (Harkin et al., 2016, Psychological Bulletin). A visible record and a small reward turn "I should" into "I did", and the streak makes consistency something you can lose.

What it is not

Cutline does not pay money for finished tasks, and XP is not a currency. It is a score that makes your effort visible, to you and, if you choose, to friends.

Questions

Can I see my rewards over time?

Yes. Your level, XP, streak and finished hours stay on your profile, and the verified CV turns the last 12 months into one page.

Is gamifying a calendar childish?

The game layer is small: a score, a streak and a weekly board. The work is real; the score only makes it visible.
