How to Create a New Calendar in Google Calendar
To create a new Google Calendar, click the plus next to Other calendars, choose Create new calendar, give it a name and click Create calendar. It works from a computer, and the new calendar then shows in the phone app too.
Step by step
- Open calendar.google.com on a computer.
- Click the plus next to Other calendars.
- Click Create new calendar.
- Give it a name and, if you like, a description and a time zone.
- Click Create calendar.
Good to know
- Each calendar has its own color, sharing and notifications.
- One calendar per area of life, such as work, training and family, makes a busy week easy to read.
- A new calendar may need turning on in the phone app.
