How to Set Working Hours in Google Calendar
To set working hours in Google Calendar, open Settings, go to Working hours & location, turn it on and set your hours for each day. People who invite you outside those hours then see a warning. The setting comes with work and school accounts.
Step by step
- Open calendar.google.com on a computer and click the gear, then Settings.
- In the left column, click Working hours & location.
- Tick Enable working hours.
- Set the days and the hours, with more than one period a day if you need it.
- Save.
Good to know
- It warns people, but it does not stop them inviting you.
- A personal Google account may not have this setting. Blocking the time as your own events does the same job.
