Calendar how-tos
How to Create a Recurring Event in Google Calendar
To make an event repeat in Google Calendar, open the event, click Does not repeat under the date and choose a pattern, or Custom for something like every second Tuesday. Then save it.
Step by step
- Create a new event, or open one and click the pencil.
- Under the date, click Does not repeat.
- Pick a pattern, or Custom to choose your own.
- In Custom, set how often, which days and when it ends.
- Click Save.
Good to know
- When you edit one later, Google asks if the change is for This event, This and following events or All events.
- Give a repeating block an end date, so it does not fill your calendar for years.
