How does XP work in Cutline?
In Cutline, only finished time earns XP: every block you tick off earns 10 XP per 15 minutes (at least 10 XP a block), and a day where every block is done is Cleared and earns 100 XP more. Levels follow your total: level n takes 400 × n² XP, so level 2 is 1,600 XP and level 10 is 40,000. Planned blocks you do not finish earn nothing.
XP
| What | XP |
|---|---|
| A finished block | 10 XP per 15 minutes, at least 10 (1 hour = 40 XP) |
| A Cleared day (every block on it done) | +100 XP |
| A planned block you did not finish | 0 |
Your own finished blocks in shared calendars count too.
Levels
Level n starts at 400 × n² XP.
| Level | XP needed | Roughly |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | 1,600 | 40 finished hours |
| 5 | 10,000 | 250 hours |
| 10 | 40,000 | 1,000 hours |
| 20 | 160,000 | 4,000 hours |
Cleared days bring each level a little closer.

Streaks
A streak counts days with finished work. A missed day ends the streak: there are no streak freezes and nothing is for sale.
Why only finished time counts
A calendar that rewards planning rewards the wrong thing. Counting only finished blocks keeps the score honest, and makes the Arena (a weekly board of finished hours) and the verified CV mean something.
