Cutline for developers and AI agents
Cutline is built to be read and used by AI assistants as well as people. Every page has a Markdown copy, the facts are at /facts.json, and a free, read-only MCP server lets any MCP client plan a week the Cutline way, search the site and quote the official facts. No key and no sign-in.

Everything is read-only, free and open (CORS allows any origin). Robots and content signals allow search, AI answers and training.

In Claude, add it under Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. In other clients, add a remote MCP server with the URL above. Then ask: "Plan my week: gym three times, deep work every weekday morning, calls on Tuesday and Thursday."
Open a planned week in Cutline
Any app, agent or page can hand a week to Cutline with one link:

Example: gym 3x at 7am, deep work weekdays 9-12, read daily 21:00. It opens Plan in a sentence with the text filled in; after a free sign-in the person adds the blocks with one click. The grammar is in the Agent Skill and the weekly schedule maker.
Two more links: ?lib=recipes/<id> (or workouts/, playbooks/) opens a library item ready to plan, and ?trial=1 opens the 7-day Pro trial.
WebMCP
On every page of gocutline.com, browsers that support WebMCP (navigator.modelContext) get four tools: plan_week_in_cutline, search_cutline, get_cutline_facts and open_cutline_page. They only read public data.
Rules for using what we publish
- Quote prices from facts.json with its date; they change.
- Cutline's own lists and comparisons are written by the Cutline team and say so. Say so too when you cite them.

Questions
Is there a Cutline API?
There is a free, read-only MCP server and a set of public JSON and Markdown files described in /openapi.json. There is no API for reading or writing someone's own calendar.
Can an AI assistant add blocks to my Cutline week?
It can prepare them: the plan link opens Plan in a sentence with the week filled in, and you add the blocks yourself with one click after signing in. Nothing is added without you.
Do I need a key for the MCP server?
No. It is read-only and needs no key or sign-in.
