Nothing is sold, and no ad network ever sees it. - Your own week is private. Write to us about anything on this page. ## 02 What we store and why What Why Legal basis (GDPR) Your account : email, @name, name, picture or logo, bio, link, time zone and settings To sign you in and run your account Contract, art. 6(1)(b) Your week : blocks (title, time, category, notes, links, done or not, amounts you put on them), shared calendars you are in That is the product Contract Linked calendars : read-only copies of events from Google, Outlook, Apple or iCal calendars you connect, and the keys to read them To show your meetings in the Grid, refreshed every 15 minutes Contract The Floor and messages : posts, replies, photos, likes, follows, bookmarks, messages, and Arena totals if you join it To show them to the people you share them with Contract Plans and payments : your Stripe customer number, plan, status, invoices. Card details stay with Stripe; we never see a full card number To bill you and give you what you paid for Contract; bookkeeping law, art. 6(1)(c) A card's fingerprint : a code from Stripe that tells two cards apart without showing the number So each card gets one free week Legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f): preventing abuse Selling : your connected Stripe account, and for each payment the amount and the payer's name and email as they gave them at checkout To show who paid you and take the Cutline fee Contract with the seller; legitimate interest towards the payer Verified CV and Official : the numbers computed for a CV you publish, its document number, and documents you upload to apply for Official To issue and verify CVs, and review Official applications Contract Coach : what you write to Coach, the AI in the app, and to answer it the blocks of your next 7 days, your goal and your time zone. Cutline does not keep the conversation; it counts how many messages you send a day To answer you and suggest blocks, which go in only when you tap Add Contract, when you use Coach Offers and moments : which offers you were shown, turned down or used, and when you last opened Cutline To show each offer once, at most one a day, and never again after a no Legitimate interest Ads : for advertisers, the ad and its payment; for everyone, that an ad was shown or clicked, once per person per day To count views honestly. Ads are not targeted: nothing about you picks them Contract; legitimate interest Where you came from : the campaign or site in the link you opened Cutline with, and the answers you give to the optional questions at sign-up To learn which channels bring people Legitimate interest Reports and email : reports you send about posts, and what you write to us To act on them and answer you Legal obligation (Digital Services Act); legitimate interest Technical logs : IP addresses and request logs at our hosting providers Security and keeping Cutline running Legitimate interest We do not sell personal data, share it with advertisers, or use it to profile you. We do not combine it with data from anywhere else. The waitlist on gocutline.com stored only your email, the @name you reserved and the week you typed, and those carry over to your account. ## 03 What other people see - Your own week is private. Nobody sees what is in it. - Public on the Floor: your @name, name, picture, bio, badge, posts and the weeks you choose to post. - The Arena shows your weekly hours and blocks, only if you join it. Never what a block was. - Shared calendars are seen by their members. - A published CV is seen by anyone with the link, and search engines only if you allow it. Take it offline any time. ## 04 Who helps us run Cutline These companies process data for us under data processing agreements. They may use it only to provide their service to Cutline. Company What for Where Supabase Database, sign-in and file storage EU (Ireland) Cloudflare Hosting the site and the app, network security Worldwide network Stripe Payments, invoices and payment links EU (Ireland) and the US Resend Sending the sign-in code by email US Google Only if you link Google Calendar US Anthropic Only when you use Coach: writing its answers. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, what you send is not used to train their models US When data goes outside the EU, it is protected by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. ## 05 Google Calendar data If you link Google Calendar, Cutline reads your events to show them in the Grid as read-only blocks, and writes only to calendars you choose. Cutline's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the [Google API Services User Data Policy](https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google data for ads, do not sell it, and do not let people read it. Disconnect in Settings → Calendars and the copies are deleted. ## 06 How long we keep it - Your account and everything in it : until you delete your account (Settings → Account). Then it is deleted, including posts, messages, calendars you made and uploaded files. - Invoices and payment records : 5 years, as the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires. - Linked calendar copies : replaced every 15 minutes, and deleted when you disconnect. - Official documents : until the application is decided; ask and we delete them then. - Hosting logs : short periods set by our providers, for security. ## 07 Your rights You can ask to see the data we have about you, correct it, delete it, take it with you in a common format, limit what we do with it, or object to what we do on the basis of legitimate interest. Write to us and we answer within 30 days. Much of it you can do yourself in Settings. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, [Datatilsynet](https://www.datatilsynet.dk). ## 08 Keeping it safe Data is encrypted in transit and at rest at our providers. Who can read what is decided by the database itself (row-level security), not by the app. Sign-in is by a one-time code sent to your email; Cutline has no passwords to leak. Admin access is limited to Cutline's founders, and only to what is needed to run Cutline. ## 09 Children Cutline is for people aged 13 and up. If you think a child under 13 has an account, write to us and we delete it. ## 10 Changes If we change this policy in a way that matters, we tell you in the app or by email before it applies.
