# How to Set Working Hours in Google Calendar

URL: https://gocutline.com/how-to/working-hours-google-calendar/

To set working hours in Google Calendar, open Settings, go to Working hours & location, turn it on and set your hours for each day. People who invite you outside those hours then see a warning. The setting comes with work and school accounts.

## Step by step
1. Open calendar.google.com on a computer and click the gear, then **Settings**.
2. In the left column, click **Working hours & location**.
3. Tick **Enable working hours**.
4. Set the days and the hours, with more than one period a day if you need it.
5. Save.

## Good to know
- It warns people, but it does not stop them inviting you.
- A personal Google account may not have this setting. Blocking the time as your own events does the same job.
