To see Google Calendar in Outlook, copy the Secret address in iCal format from the calendar's settings in Google, then in Outlook choose Add calendar and Subscribe from web and paste it. The Google events show in Outlook but stay read-only there.

## Step by step
1. In Google Calendar on a computer, open the calendar's **Settings and sharing**.
2. Under **Integrate calendar**, copy the **Secret address in iCal format**.
3. In Outlook, go to the calendar and click **Add calendar**.
4. Choose **Subscribe from web** and paste the address.
5. Give it a name and click **Import**.

## Good to know
- Keep the secret address to yourself: anyone who has it can read the calendar.
- Updates can take hours to show, because Outlook fetches the feed on its own schedule.
- To edit events you still go to Google.
