To export Google Calendar, open Settings, choose Import & export and click Export. You get a zip file with one .ics file per calendar, which any other calendar app can import.

## Step by step
1. Open calendar.google.com on a computer and click the gear, then **Settings**.
2. In the left column, click **Import & export**.
3. Under **Export**, click **Export**.
4. Open the zip file you get. There is one .ics file per calendar.

## Good to know
- To export a single calendar, open its **Settings and sharing** page and use **Export calendar**.
- You can only export calendars you own or can manage.
- This is a good yearly backup: it takes one minute.
