Birthdays in Google Calendar come from your Google contacts. Tick Birthdays in the left column to show them, and add a birthday to a contact, or create a birthday event, to make a new one show up.

## Step by step
1. Open calendar.google.com on a computer.
2. In the left column, under **My calendars**, tick **Birthdays**.
3. To add one, click **Create** and choose **Birthday**, or add a birthday to the contact.
4. Untick **Birthdays** to hide them all.

## Good to know
- Birthdays come from your own contacts, and from people who chose to share theirs.
- Birthdays repeat every year by themselves.
