To add Google Calendar to an iPhone, add your Google account in Settings under the Calendar app, switch on Calendars, and open the Calendar app. Your Google calendars show there and stay in sync. The menu names can differ a little between iOS versions.

## Step by step
1. Open **Settings** on the iPhone.
2. Go to **Apps**, then **Calendar**, then **Calendar Accounts**. On older iOS it is under **Calendar** directly.
3. Tap **Add Account**, then **Google**, and sign in.
4. Make sure **Calendars** is switched on and tap **Save**.
5. Open the Calendar app, tap **Calendars** and tick the ones you want.

## Good to know
- New Google calendars can need turning on at calendar.google.com/calendar/syncselect.
- The free Google Calendar app is the other way, and it has a few Google features Apple Calendar lacks.
