# How can I prove my work ethic to an employer?

URL: https://gocutline.com/answers/prove-work-ethic-to-employers/

Replace adjectives with evidence an employer can check: how many focused hours you put in, how much of what you planned you finished, and how long you kept it up. A verified CV from Cutline shows these numbers from your calendar on one page, with a document number and QR code anyone can verify at gocutline.com/verify.

## What counts as evidence
| Claim | Evidence |
|---|---|
| Hard-working | Focused hours over the last 12 months |
| Reliable | The share of planned blocks you finished |
| Consistent | Your longest streak and a year of days on one map |
| Results | Revenue confirmed by Stripe, if you sell |
| Skills | Hours spent in each discipline |

## How to build it
1. Plan your weeks in Cutline and tick blocks off as you finish them.
2. Open **CV** in the app. The record fills in by itself; add your headline, experience and links.
3. Publish. You get gocutline.com/cv/your-name, a PDF and a document number.

## Be honest about what it shows
Time in Cutline is recorded by you: it is evidence of planning and follow-through, not surveillance. The CV says so, and marks which parts Cutline computed and which you declared. That honesty is what makes the numbers credible. Read the full guide: [how to prove your work ethic on a CV](https://gocutline.com/guides/prove-work-ethic-on-a-cv/).

## Questions

**Can an employer check the CV is real?**
Yes. The document number and QR code open the record exactly as issued at gocutline.com/verify, with the date and whether it is the holder's current CV.
